It was working previously, but now the nameserver check has disappeared. I’m trying again, but it’s getting stuck at the nameserver verification step.

Strange, that link for icann is dead…like it’s unreachable. This can’t be good…
Anyhow, serverHold means the registry has put a hold on your domain. You’ll have to reach out to your registrar to get this straightened out.
