Cloudflare is considering one of our API domain as BAD BOT

Hi. We noticed that Cloudflare is considering one of our API domain as BAD BOT, so blocking the API hit from the merchant server where they had configured Cloudflare. So we raised the ticket with the Cloudflare team using this link. But still haven’t received any revert from them. Please help us to resolve this issue.

Do you have an example of the error/block page you’re receiving?

The vast majority of blocks are customer-defined and Cloudflare won’t overwrite a customer’s firewall rules.

No, we don’t have the error details. And also we verified that the merchant didn’t add any firewall rules. The APIs started working after the merchant turned off Bot on Cloudflare config page. By this, we got to know that our domain is considered a bad bot by Cloudflare. So then we raised the ticket with the Cloudflare team with all the necessary details asked on this Google Form Cloudflare Bot Verification, but we haven’t heard back from the team.

You won’t hear back from them. Unless your bot is massive and used by millions, it won’t be allowlisted.
Your customers should add proper firewall rules to allow your bot to make the requests.

We had used the same form mentioned on this friendly bot documentation, to raise the request to consider our domain as friendly bot. But didn’t get any reply from team.
