I host my domain with Cloudflare and have recently shifted my website hosting to hostinger. Earlier I contacted hostinger because I was receiving an Error 1000 on my homepage. After making the changes, suggested by hostinger (deleting the ‘A’ IP references and andding CNAME references to connect.hostinger.com) the Error 1000 page immediately went away. However, my homepage now says my website cannot be found.
What feature, service or problem is this related to?
Do I use the connect.hostinger.com in the “A” instead of the IP. When I use hostinger’s iP for there name servers in the “A” it generates an Error 1000.
I believe I figured it out. Hostinger has another IP address that does not create the error 1000 when added as an “A” record (145.223.77.215). Added that as a @ and www. Seems to be working. However, if I’m missing something please let me know.
