CLOUDFLARE has been rejected by the gaining registrar

I tried moving a group of domains from names to cloudflare, paid for the transfer and most of them came back with the below

This email is to inform you that we have received notification that the request to change the TAG for allaboutwine.co.uk to CLOUDFLARE has been rejected by the gaining registrar.

Please contact your new provider and enquire why they have taken this action. Once the problem has been rectified let me know so that we can resubmit the TAG change request.

Ive searched the forum but the solution always seems to be answered privately.
Ive put in a ticket but that’s just got bot answers which do not resolve the issues and time is running out.

Please help or answer the ticket I submitted days ago

Have you already added the domains to Cloudflare? If not, you must do that first before you transfer the domain.

Yes they were all added first, and all had namesco as their nameserver, one is a pro account I have had running on cloudflare for months

Did you complete the transfer process prior to asking for the tag change?

2 posts were split to a new topic: Domain transfer not happening

Yes, as I explained, some have transferred ok, and the same process was done for all.
There seems to be no logic to the rejections and no way to check

names (names.co.uk)

@phil55

If you keep getting the error, can you create a Registrar ticket and share your ticket number here?

You can open a Registrar ticket here, https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/support

I did 2 days ago and no one has responded to it

Your colleague Nick
Technical Support Engineer - Cloudflare
said “Let us know when you have done that, so we can verify the issue.”
I did and explained we got API errors when doing it … and another 2 days passed with no response. Mean while I am now going to have to renew some of the domains with namesco as they are running out and I cannot risk loosing them, so I have paid for transfer both ends and nothing happened, now I have to renew and pay all again… is there a solution to stop this happening, a simple process we can follow in a video as some seem to work others not

@phil55 Nick was able to fix my issue in the end - it was down to part of the address details on the WHOIS data being missing - of which there is absolutely no indication to on the rejection email you receive. It’s a shame it took two weeks to get a response from someone at CF that actually helped! I hope your domain issue gets resolved soon too.

Thank you; I appreciate that. I have about 20 waiting on this, paid for and in limbo. I just had to pay for a renewal of 2 with my old registrar to avoid an outage, so it’s getting expensive!

Please see the response in ticket #3182153. As we have issued next steps. We appreciate your patience.
