Security-wise, they’re exactly the same. They all use the same 1.1.1.1 technology. The only differences are filtering and the analytics provided by Gateway.

It depends.

With Gateway you set your own filtering categories and allow/allowlist settings. With 1.1.1.[2/3] you get a set of Cloudflare managed defaults.
