Cloudflare Free Plan Setup for my website

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

I am trying to set up Cloudflare’s free plan for my website, which is hosted on Hostinger and has its domain registered with Namecheap. However, I’m unsure about how to integrate Cloudflare with my current hosting and domain setup.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I’ve checked Cloudflare’s website for information, but I need more specific guidance for my current setup with Hostinger and Namecheap.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Go to Cloudflare’s website and sign up for the free plan.
Try to add m.zahid.com as a new website.
Encounter uncertainty in the integration process with Hostinger and Namecheap.

Hi there,

You’re likely refering to m-zahid.com, not m.zahid.com.

The steps you need are the following:

  • Start by adding the zone to your account and select your plan Free/Pro/Biz/Ent.
  • Let Cloudflare scan your DNS records or import them from a file.
  • Take a quick look at the records and check if they match your current ones at namecheap and correct them if needed or add the ones that are missing (if any).
  • Take note of the nameservers assigned to you by Cloudflare
  • Go back to Namecheap, change the nameservers to “Custom DNS” and add your Cloudflare assigned nameservers
  • Within a few minutes you zone back at Cloudflare should become active, and you should start seeing traffic in analytics.
    That’s it.

Edit:
Here’s something I found over at Namecheap:

Take care.
