Cloudflare for DNS only and quic.cloud as CDN

Hi! I thought I could follow https://quic.cloud/docs/cdn/dns/using-cloudflare-with-quic-cloud-cdn/ to serve dynamic content through quic.cloud and use Cloudflare for static content and DNS. It worked, after I proxied the CNAME voice, but I was left with some font problems (fixed), other errors, and a general very long server response time. So I tried to serve all content through quic.cloud CDN and use Cloudflare for DNS only, abandoning CDN mapping on the LiteSpeed plugin and putting a page rule to bypass cache. It worked perfectly and my site has never been better. I really need to serve dynamic content through quic.cloud in order to serve CSS replaced webp versions created with with the LiteSpeed plugin, and now I get good performance scores… Now my question is: what have I done?!
What are the consequences of this setup? Also from a security point of view.
