Cloudflare edge certificate did not apply for SSL certificate for resolution

What is the name of the domain?

‘8w.ee’

What is the error message?

Edge Certificate is empty

What is the issue you’re encountering

After adding a new resolution, Cloudflare did not apply for a certificate for the resolution. When I enabled and disabled Disable Universal SSL, the previously applied certificate also disappeared. Now, the edge certificate has been showing as empty for a week.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

  1. Enable “Disable Universal SSL” and disable “Disable Universal SSL” again after 12 hours.
  2. Delete all resolutions and re-add domain name resolution.
  3. Switch SSL certificate supplier to Google or Let’s Encrypt, and enable “Disable Universal SSL”, and disable “Disable Universal SSL” again after 12 hours.
  4. Switch certificate SSL/TLS encryption mode to Full (Strict).
Note that the 8w.ee domain was added to cloudflare through a cloudflare partner in 2021.

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?

Yes

What is the current SSL/TLS setting?

Strict (SSL-Only Origin Pull)

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Added new resolution, no SSL certificate application record is seen in the edge certificate.

Similar to this one, also with Huawei Cloud (although I don’t see a cdn.cloudflare.net CNAME for your domain).
