Cloudflare DNS SSL Full(Strict) configured website not working on mobile devices

What is the name of the domain?

www.business-webdesign.co.uk

What is the error number?

No error number given.

What is the issue you’re encountering

When viewing the website on a mobile device, the page is messed up and not displaying correctly

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I’ve recently moved the DNS of a website over to Cloudflare. The website is on a VPS using Let’s encrypt SSL. Before the move all worked perfectly fine over SSL on desktop and mobile device.

The website failed to render after several hours when in proxy mode, but I then stumbled on a forum post about enabling Full(Strict).
Enabling Full(Strict) allows the website to render correctly in a web browser on a PC, but when viewing same on mobile device the website is not displaying correctly. The page is quite messed up.

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

I don’t know

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Visit the website https://www.business-webdesign.co.uk/ using a mobile device such as a mobile phone.

Quick update: It would seem that on my Android phone, using the Chrome browser gives this issue mentioned above. I installed the MS EDGE browser on my phone, and that appears to render the website correctly.

The issue appears to be on an Android phone (unable to test Apple), whilst using the Chrome web browser.

I tested on android and iphone, chrome on both and it loads fine for me

I’m wondering if it’s some sort of local device web page browser caching issue or something if no one else can see the issue. I’ve done the usual delete browser history on my phone but it made no difference.

I’m having the exact same issue with a different website that I’ve also just moved over, with the same device and browser.

Maybe scan that device for malware and check if the os and browser are up to date?

For anyone else who has the same problem and finds this thread.

The fix was to set the ssl to Full(Strict), and completely clear the full browser history on the device.

This does concern me however though as I move other sites over to Cloudflare how many other site visitors will have this issue unexpectedly and just think the site is broken.
