CloudFlare DNS servers are failing to find the address for a machine's alias

The Cloudflare DNS isn’t finding the address for a machine’s alias (the machine is not hosted on Cloudflare). The primary name works, but not the alias. It does work with Google and other DNS servers:

C:>nslookup actr-server.hpc1.cs.cmu.edu 8.8.8.8
Server: dns.google
Address: 8.8.8.8

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: actr-server.hpc1.cs.cmu.edu
Address: 128.2.205.1

C:>nslookup act-r.psy.cmu.edu 8.8.8.8
Server: dns.google
Address: 8.8.8.8

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: ACTR-SERVER.HPC1.CS.cmu.edu
Address: 128.2.205.1
Aliases: act-r.psy.cmu.edu

C:>nslookup actr-server.hpc1.cs.cmu.edu 1.1.1.1
Server: one.one.one.one
Address: 1.1.1.1

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: actr-server.hpc1.cs.cmu.edu
Address: 128.2.205.1

C:>nslookup act-r.psy.cmu.edu 1.1.1.1
Server: one.one.one.one
Address: 1.1.1.1

*** one.one.one.one can’t find act-r.psy.cmu.edu: Server failed

Potentially the same issue as here:

Tagging @mvavrusa who might be able to resolve.

The new release is finished, so it should be working now.

Thanks, it appears to work now:

c:>nslookup act-r.psy.cmu.edu 1.1.1.1
Server: one.one.one.one
Address: 1.1.1.1

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: ACTR-SERVER.HPC1.CS.cmu.edu
Address: 128.2.205.1
Aliases: act-r.psy.cmu.edu
