We have two questions:
- Why cloudflare doesn’t use the nearest data center to our largest visitor?
- Is there a way to manually select data center to a specific location?
We just recently using pro account, but we see no significant performance improvement.
According to analytics, most of our users are located in Taiwan (more than 90%).
Some of them from the US (about 5%) and then Japan (about 1%).
But when we go to http://www.example.com/cdn-cgi/trace (yes, we changed www.example.com to our domain). It says colo=LAX when my location is loc=TW. Which is weird because according to documentation, cloudflare will choose data center based on user location, then it should be in Taiwan not in Los Angeles.
