Cloudflare community support prevents users from asking questions

Feedback

I tried for a full hour to submit an issue (we’re having with ZeroTrust and DNS/CNAMEs) and gave up.
EVERY SINGLE TIME it rejected my issue/post with ridiculously useless “New Users are limited to 4 links”.
INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING.
And quite insulting as well since I’ve had a Cloudflare account for this same company for probably over 10 years.
Also, at no point did it say WHERE these supposed links were in the post (I spent way too much time trying to find them and fix them).
Everything failed, I just gave up.
For the record: the problem I’m having (still) has to do with the ZeroTrust system and the DNS system: HOW ELSE am I supposed to describe the issues we’re having WITHOUT using LINKS???
And your little hints (buried deep in your documents) to replace dots with spaces or (dot) DOES NOT WORK. I tried so many variations to no avail.
And to boot, I so simplified the description (as to make the problem not clear at all) JUST TO SEE if it would go through, and it never did.
I understand you’re trying to block spams and such BUT IT CAN’T be at the expense of valid/verified/paying users who then just give up because your system is so obscure and hard to use.
A VERY VERY FRUSTRATED USER.

Hi,

Certain keywords are automatically replaced with links to possible solutions, and I understand that it can be very frustrating if your post gets blocked because of that. I’m not even sure the limit to 4 links does anything useful, as most spam-posts just have a single link.

If I type CNAME for example, you can see it automatically gets replaces with a link: CNAME

The editor has a preview where you can see which words are turned into links. You can try to put these words into preformatted text like I did (ctrl-e or the </> option in the menu bar of the editor).

@cloonan can remove the restriction from your account, but it’s the weekend and it might be a while before he reads this.

I bumped your community trust level from 0 so that you should not hit that restriction again @frederic1
