Cloudflare changing my DNS settings automatically and won't stop!

I was exploring Cloudflare services and accidentally began to migrate my webhosting to you. I stopped the process when I realised but the IP address in the A record in my DNS (hosted by GoDaddy) keeps automatically changing to

I had to change the A record manually at GoDaddy and then an hour or two later it changes back to automatically - I have done this 5 or 6 times today.

I need this to stop happening - I’ve removed the domain from your Websites section completely but it is still changing the IP to Cloudflare’s address.

…is a Godaddy IP address, not a Cloudflare one.

It is hosted by GoDaddy but is managed by Cloudflare:

That is odd, seems to come up on as part of Cloudflare’s Spectrum IP space. Whether that’s due to changes in owner or Godaddy is a customer of Cloudflare I don’t know.

Either way, Cloudflare can’t change the DNS inside your Godaddy account so something else is going on.

What is the domain name?

GoDaddy support seem to have no idea.

So Cloudflare cannot change your DNS even if you ask them to migrate your account?

The nameservers for the domain are Godaddy’s, so if you are sure that this record keeps changing, then you need to check that your Godaddy account is secure (change the password) and ensure that you delete or change any API keys…

Cloudflare don’t and can’t access your Godaddy account in any way.

I don’t actually have any GoDaddy API keys setup. I’ve escalated it with them so I’ll update here if they figure it out!

Thank so much for your help!
