Cloudflare is blocking our URL when trying to migrate to new server - No response from support
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
When trying to migrate our website to a different server (WPEngine) our agency encountered an issue, which WPEngine support stated that Cloudflare’s name servers are blocking us from pointing our domain (vetsure.com) to a server of our choosing, which is a WPEngine server. This was reported to the trust and safety team but i have had no response for a number of weeks with a request to remove this ban or block.
Hi @ashley7 I reviewed your ticket and the topic here, but I am not sure exactly what error you are receiving. Are you trying to edit your DNS A record here, https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/dns to point to a different IP and encountering an error? If so, what is that error? If not, can you share what you are trying to accomplish, the steps you are taking, and what error you are encountering?
Hello. We’re trying to set the DNS records in the Cloudflare dashboard to point to our WPEngine servers, but after doing so, we encounter the attached error page.
We’ve consulted with WPEngine support multiple times, and they’ve informed us that Cloudflare may have a restriction or ban in place on this domain, preventing it from using the specified WPEngine servers.
When we update the DNS records, we’ll set the A and CNAME records as follows:
