Cloudflare appending suffix to return-path email header

Hi,

When I try to change the return-path/bounce address header in WordPress, cloudflare is now appending a suffix (.cdn.cloudflare.net) to the end of the domain which I do not want

Cloudflare:
[email protected]

What I want:
[email protected]

I have a partial setup with proxy for my domain but I still don’t know why return-path email header would be modified by cloudflare?
