Hi, I bought my domain on GoDaddy and used it for a self-hosted WordPress (.org) website. I connected Cloudflare using the following nameservers (nina.ns.cloudflare.com & syeef.ns.cloudflare.com) and have been managing all the DNS settings on Cloudflare. My origin is connected via the A record.
Now I am moving my site to WordPress.com where the A record is different. How do I continue to use Cloudflare? Can I replace the A records with the new ones?
Also, what is the process to migrate my DNS settings back to GoDaddy?
You would do this in the same manner as moving to any DNS provider, by placing their nameservers in your domain’s whois record at your registrar. Be aware that when you make such a change you will lose the security and performance benefits provided by Cloudflare and you will need to manage your DNS records elsewhere.
