Can I please get some clarification as to how many active connections Cloudflare does to the website hosting?
When my traffic picks up, I keep spiking at around 350 active connections and my website seems to start hanging..
I’ve been trying to figure out what it is.. and it looks like Cloudflare limits to 100 ? Active Connections per Tunnel
Can you provide any insight? I am using NGINX status to determine the active connections:
Active connections: 268
server accepts handled requests

Reading: 0 Writing: 1 Waiting: 267
it goes up to 350ish and then my host experiences problems.. I’m just wondering… this is some type of Syn Attack or something right ? Cloudflare isn’t opening 300 active connections to my host ? I do have a secondary website in cloudflare .ca
Does more traffic = more connections to origin? I usually have 200 active connections and it won’t go below 260 now.
