Last week, we launched Purpose Justification collection in Cloudflare Access. This allows you to generate a purpose justification collection screen directly after a user authenticates via Access. This can be used for sensitive applications that require specific justification for Access.

I misunderstood that purpose justification was a means of requesting access for blocked users. In other words, a means of asking to be “allowed”.
Perhaps that information could be clearer in the setup screen?
Hey! That shouldn’t be the case. A user must still pass the specific policy before they are prompted for a Purpose Justification. This is purely to collect their business reason for accessing the resource after they pass the policy.
