Using the chrome browser on android, I’d like to change the secure DNS to Cloudflare (1.1.1.1).
I’ve done this on my old mobile: Under ‘Use secure DNS’, selecting the checkbox ‘Choose another provider’, ‘Cloudflare (1.1.1.1)’ is listed in the dropdown list.
On my new mobile, under ‘Use secure DNS’, selecting the checkbox ‘Choose another provider’, there is no dropdown list visible. There is only a form field to add the URL adress of the provider.
Why is it not possible to add ‘Cloudflare (1.1.1.1)’ from a dropdown list, and can I add an URL instead of ‘Cloudflare (1.1.1.1)’ ?
