I just singed up for a new account at Cloudflare, added a domain, and changed the name servers for this domain over to Cloudflare.
When you add a domain at Cloudflare, it automatically creates all of the DNS records, I’m assuming, based on the domain you add and current host …but I’m also changing site hosts …and I’m wondering if it’s safe to go ahead and change the DNS records appropriate for the new hosting company.
I’ve already done this for several other existing Cloudflare accounts for domains/sites that I have moved to the same new host. So I have the correct information to make the changes to DNS, and I know they work …I’m just not sure if I should wait for the name servers to change over to Cloudflare, or if it’s okay to make the changes under DNS now?
