Changing CNAME record for www to my host from Namecheap

Hello,

I am trying to change the CNAME record for the www subdomain to my server address from Namecheap, but it keeps telling me a CNAME record already exists.

Can you please tell me how to make this change. I was able to change the source A record but can’t add an A for the www subdomain.

This is what the record says:

|CNAME|www|parkingpage.namecheap.com|!

Then you need to delete the CNAME before you can add an A record.
