Change name server now too many redirects

Hi,

I’ve made the change from GoDaddy to use Cloudflare for our DNS. About 18 hours ago, I followed the new site wizard and added ramphealth dot com, imported the zone file and changed nameservers. it appears the error we are receiving is too many redirects.

I’m not sure what to do to get the site back up before Monday morning. I’ve read a few articles and one item it mentioned was a previously installed SSL cert could cause that issue. The article suggested changing the SSL from flexible to Full or strict. I made the change to Full and that didn’t help.

I thought I would try the community before making any other changes. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Matt

I’m getting successful connections with HTTP, but with HTTPS, I’m getting 525 errors.

At this point, I suggest you Pause Cloudflare, then make sure site is working as expected with HTTPS. Only then should you un-pause Cloudflare and double-check your SSL/TLS setting to make sure it’s Full (Strict).

I just paused it and we are all up! Thank you for the guidance!!

This should provide the needed time to figure this out during off hours and to enable cloudflare.

Any thoughts on what I should do to fix the issue?

This part of the previous response should be able to help:

Or, an alternative version saying the same →

Can you please head over to https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/ssl-tls and check your current SSL/TLS encryption mode?

If it is currently set to Flexible, then switch to Full (Strict).

You have two IP addresses listed for your website. One that supports HTTPS (192…pointing to Sucuri), and one that does not (34…pointing to Google hosting). You’ll have to fix that first, before you can unpause Cloudflare.

I see. I called godaddy and my hosting is at 148.72.116.147

I removed 34.102.136.180 to see if that would work and it did not…

Also made sure the SSL was set to Full\Strict

I also just tried with 148.72.116.147 and no luck. I am really struggling here so thank you
