Change authoritative nameserver to AWS Route 53

I recently moved a domain to Cloudflare Registrar that used AWS Route 53 as its authoritative nameserver. Route 53 is used as most of the entries are configured by CloudFormation that manage CloudFront and S3 hosted websites.

All I’ve been able to find on this topic is a thread from a few years ago, back when Registrar was in beta, suggesting that it hadn’t been implemented yet but was planned. As it has been a few years now, and Registrar is out of beta, I imagine it would have been implemented by now if it was on the roadmap.

Short of being able to change the authoritative nameservers, is there any other way to get round my problem other than copying over all my DNS records from Route 53 to Cloudflare?
