Are you sure the Challeng Page was the Cloudflare official and original, and not some “malicious” as they’re already out there?
Might be some kind of a malicious page trying to abuse your device and using the needed CPU power (cryptomining, virus, malware …).
Otherwise, you’re heatsink might bot be alligned well on the CPU socket if you’ve got such high “spike” of the temperature change, as well as possible Turbo Boost option and other features available which cause such behaviours in temperature changes.
Is it the default heatsink or some other with cooler?
I don’t get this right. Is this temperature when you’re experiencing the default Cloudflare WAF block page (403 error)?
For sure it consume some CPU percentage to complete and verify the challenge.

When I kill and block the challenge. I didn’t got a 403 error so far.
