CF-IPCountry header on POST requests

We are currently developing an API which relies on the CF-IPCountry field in some parts.

However, if the client calls an API via a POST request, the CF-IPCountry is not present.

I have tried setting up Nginx, which is acting as a proxy to the API, to echo the CF-IPCountry back as an X-Dbg header. If I send a GET to the API, the expected country code is displayed, but with POST the returned header is empty, so it’s not even making it’s way to Nginx.

Is that expected to happen? I’ve been unable to find any documentation on that specific aspect of it.
