CF-Cache-Status: MISS / Expired

Got the following result for a few pages on our website when checked on REDBot

expires: Wed, 08 Feb 2023 00:39:39 GMT
vary: Accept-Encoding
x-cache: MISS
CF-Cache-Status: MISS

Alternately, somebody got Cache-Status as Expired

We are using WPRocket (with Cloudflare add on)
Page Rule on Cloudflare reads the following -
Cache Level: Cache Everything, Edge Cache TTL: 7 days

In addition, have enabled Varnish and Redis at the server end

Will be great to get some inputs about what we might be doing wrong.

Thanks

This is the RedBot status check - [Preformatted text](https://redbot.org/?uri=https://digitaldefynd.com/best-react-js-courses-tutorial-training-certification/)

If a cached response does not get accessed frequently enough, Cloudflare will evict it from its cache.

I would recommend taking a look at Cloudflare’s new Cache Reserve product, which will increase the cache hit rate for responses that are not accessed frequently by storing it in Cloudflare’s persistent R2 storage and automatically serving it when appropriate.

Thanks Arunesh, quite helpful.

Follow up -

  1. Is it better to use APO instead? (Only challenge is potential conflict with WPRocket)
  2. I am on cloudways, and they have something called Cloudflare Enterprise. Will that be a good substitute as well
  3. OR is it better to use Cache Reserve plan

Thanks

I have never tried Cloudflare’s APO myself before, but as far as I’m aware they do some kind of intelligent caching there too.

Giving About · Cloudflare Automatic Platform Optimization docs a quick read, I think it’s worth a shot to try out Cloudflare’s APO.
