On mobile Chrome and only on certain devices, the SSL certificate is not trusted

What error message or number are you receiving?
NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?
only used cloudflare

What are the steps to reproduce the error:

  1. Access the domain on mobile chrome

Have you tried from another browser and/or incognito mode?
Firefox mobile does not give the issue, it appears to be only chrome related

Hi,

Are you able to disable and re-enable Universal SSL on the website (after waiting a minute or so) under SSL/TLS > Edge Certificates? This should help issue a fresh certificate.

The classic “turn it off and on again” never fails to work!
