Category of blocked IP

Hi!

If I look at Gateway in Cloudflare for Teams I can see the blocked requests but I have no info about the category of the blocked request.

Is there any way to get the category of blocked requests?

Hi Heino!

If you visit the Activity Log tab and click the row of a specific request, more details about the request are revealed in a drop down. Here, you can see the category of the blocked request. You can read more about the Activity Log in the Gateway docs.

There is no Activity log tab :frowning:
I can only see overview, locations and policies.

Apologies for my delayed response! The Activity Log tab is under the ‘Logs’ section, not the Gateway section, and within the Logs section, you’ll see a Gateway tab, which pulls up the Activity Log. Apologies for any confusion, and let me know if you have any further issues.

No Problem. In the meantime I have found the Activity Log.
I am not sure if it was there at my last writing but anyway.

It would be great if filtering by content categories would be possible.
At the moment I can only filter by decisions. And that makes the log analysis challenging.

I don’t want to create a new policy. I would like to have more filter options for the activity log.
At the moment I can only filter the activity log by location, time/date, and decision.
It would be very helpful to filter by content categories.
