Can't view the Global API

I can’t VIEW the Global API. When I go there, it asks for me to enter my password. I do this and enter my Cloudflare password. But then it says "Please verify your email. (Code: 1211) in red at the bottom of the screen. I don’t see any way to do this. So I can’t move forward. Can you help?

I’ve seen this error happening when the email verification process wasn’t completed or didn’t register as done. I’m almost positive this nothing to do with the browser settings - you may try cache clearing as a precautionary action.

If you’ve not yet set your 2 Factor Authentication, you should still be able to request another email verification. Go to Go to your Dashboard → Profile → Authentication and if that’s the case, you’ll see the option to resend the verification message under the 2FA section.

Yes, I just added the 2FA and the email verification issue cleared up.

It would have been nice for Cloudflare to say that to verify your email, we require you to add 2FA.

Because that, from what I can tell, was what I needed to do in order to “verify the email address.” Just saying “Please verify your email.” was simply not clear enough. And the “Code: 1211” could have been helpful if there was an explanation as to what “Code: 1211” meant. LOL

I really get a bit annoyed when documentation or websites, etc., don’t provide 100% clear instructions. I know it’s difficult, but providing clear communication and instructions is very important to help provide a desirable user experience.
