I have been using Cloudflare succesfully for a while now to CNAME a @ on a domain to cloudflare-ipfs
but suddenly I get CNAME Cross-User Banned
As far as I am aware I don’t have another account and this one domain entry merely point to cloudflare-ipfs (and the MX to protonmail)
There have been no changes to this configuration in over a year but this issue appeared suddenly a few days ago.
I have another domain with a similar set up and this one works fine.
Are you getting a 1014 error?
Just include the error number or error message in your post
And click the error or by the error number or message.
This is the best post I’ve seen upon doing a quick 1014 search to resolve the 1014 error.
Hello,
You can find more details about this error here:
By default, Cloudflare prohibits a DNS CNAME record between domains in different Cloudflare accounts.
You’ll need to use the Cloudflare for SaaS feature:
Yes I am getting a 1014 …
but none of the topics I find on there help.
and I mentioned another domain with a very similar configuration works just fine.
