What is the name of the domain?

[REDACTED]

What is the error message?

A URL contains a domain that is not active on Cloudflare: [REDACTED]

What is the issue you’re encountering

I can’t report fake phishing website about cryptocurrency exchange mexc!

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I have swapped domain with other legitimate domain to resolve this issue

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Just try to report [REDACTED] this website on this cloudflare form: https://abuse.cloudflare.com/phishing
Every website that I try to fetch dns says that it belongs to cloudflare dns… I have even used tracert and it tracks to cloudflare ip…

Screenshot of the error

You shouldn’t even be able to resolve that domain right now since it is in clientHold status at the registrar.

Welp, guess what… I can. I have received sms 1 hour ago:
“[MEXC] Code: 810173. A change to your account info was requested. If this was not you, visit [REDACTED] to review it. Please do not disclose it.”

[REDACTED] redirects to [REDACTED] which is phishing page.

I don’t know where did you even checked this status but it is clearly resolving, I even tried in incognito mode…

But we will see, anyway thanks for reply.

Cheers

Edit: I have tried with vpn and it says “connection closed”. In Poland it still works tho - on both my home wifi and mobile data.

My resolver is DNSSEC validating. I didn’t attempt it w/o DNSSEC. That may be a factor in our differing results, although I am not getting any results when querying 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8, and 9.9.9.9, either.

If you can edit your original post, it would be nice if you remove the link to the site you want to report. It is probably not a good idea to leave a clickable link to a phishing site.

Edit: I am seeing mexc(.)fi resolve. Have you reported it? If it is not still sending people to the phishing page, it may not be actionable.
