Unable to process payment for domain registration or transfer - I get an error “account does not have payment method set up.” I’m also unable to add a payment method - the Billing page errors out too.
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
Tried multiple browsers, cleared cache, incognito mode, different payment methods including PayPal. I opened a ticket but haven’t had a reply in over a week.
Billing issues requre a Billing ticket with Support
You’ll need to follow these directions here, Billing, Plans & Subscription Questions. The Community cannot assist with Billing, Account nor Registrar issues, you need a ticket with Support.
If you already have a ticket, Support will respond to you on that ticket.
I have gone through these steps, and seen the same reply on multiple topics. Can this be resolved in the same way it seemed to be in this thread? Payment method issues
I gave it a try @rostodon but have no confidence the actions I took will have an effect. Can you try again from incognito mode? I’d to be incorrect! Let me know and sorry for the issues & delay.
Thank you! I was able to proceed through payment for domain registration and transfer. I’m still unable to add a payment method under the Billing section of my account, but that solves my main issue for now. I’ll keep an eye on the ongoing issue you linked to.
