Can't Locate DNS Records

What is the issue you’re encountering

Cloudflare can’t find DNS records.

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

DNS records

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

For some reason Cloudflare can’t find any DNS records for my domain, and when I try to add them manually it doesn’t work. I have my domain registered through GoDaddy and downloading and trying to import the records doesn’t work either. I’ve also tried deleting the domain and readding it to Cloudflare and no luck.

This domain is not using Cloudflare nameservers. You will need to change the nameservers at your registrar to the pair provided by Cloudflare in your account before settings made in the Cloudflare dashboard will apply.

I’ve done that and Cloudflare still says invalid nameservers.

As you can see at the link I shared the nameservers have not been updated in your registrars control panel. You may also be using them for DNS but that is not where the change needs to be made.

Check now. It’s been updated but Cloudflare still says invalid nameservers.

You have a DNSSEC issue and need to disable that at your registrar.

DNSSEC was never enabled in the first place.

Check the spelling of the domain in your Cloudflare dashboard and make sure you have selected a plan (Free, Pro or Business). Look at the zone overview page in your Cloudflare dashboard if unsure.
