Cant get this record to work

I’m trying to get my domain verified for google search console. I added the record and its still not working.

I was given this to add to a TXT record on my domain

google-site-verification=6SZKpZSuWAL6s4aD0nnpAEofdfuVapDsxRxrSt4nyb4

That’s probably not the record that Google wanted you to add. Assuming that you’re verifying the naked domain, Google will likely require you to set the Name (required) field for that TXT record to @ rather than google.
