I’m getting an “Error 525” message when I try to view my site. In the troubleshooting list, Cloudflare says that the problem is with my hosting company. I talked with support from my hosting company, and they say that everything seems to be good on their end, but that to troubleshoot further, we need to delete one of the A records for my site with Cloudflare. Only one A record shows up in what I can see on Cloudflare’s DNS management. But my hosting company says they see two A records. One of them I want to keep. The second one needs to be removed or bypassed.

I suggest you use the “Pause Cloudflare on Site” option from the Overview tab for your domain at dash.cloudflare.com. The link is in the lower right corner of that page. Give it five minutes to take effect, then make sure site is working as expected with HTTPS. Only then should you un-pause Cloudflare and double-check your SSL/TLS setting to make sure it’s Full (Strict).
