Can't determine IP address to create A record for domain purchased on Cloudflare

What is the name of the domain?

What is the error message?

DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

What is the issue you’re encountering

Domain won’t resolve and I can’t find the right IP address to create an A record

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I used the generic 192.x one from Cloudflare’s documentation then got a timeout error. I used the dig tool to find the IP address from the domain but got another error with that one. Not sure what I’m missing

The IP address is something you get from your hosting provider, not from your domain registrar.

Your host would usually have a guide on how to add a custom domain.
