Can't delete payment method, and can't use current payment method to renew domain

What is the issue you’re encountering

I want to renew my domain, but it’s only getting errors. A note says “We were unable to process your payment. To keep your domain registration, update your payment method.”, I updated it and it doesn’t work. And I found I can’t delete current payment methods.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

My domain is about to expire on April 9th, so I want to renew it early when I have spare time.
I tried multiple times to edit the payment methods (with the same paypal account I used to pay for the transfer fee last year),
because I can’t delete neither primary nor backup payment methods (both are the same paypal account). Then I tried to renew the domain, still getting the errors.

Specifically:

  • When I tried to renew my domain, I got: Payment error: authorization failed for [“unlucky.ninja”]
  • When I tried to delete current payment method, I got: Internal Server Error

I have submitted a case but not getting any response except auto-reply.

The Community cannot assist with Billing, Account nor Registrar issues.

Thank you for clarifying that, I was not sure if this is a registrar issue or a billing issue. The note on domain page leads me to billing page, which has errors too.

My ticket is created at Feb 27. Is there an estimated time for a ticket to receive support?
