Cant create a WAF rule

Can not create a rule on WAF, I have the error: not entitled: the use of operator Matches is not allowed, a Business plan or a WAF Advanced plan is required
I have a Pro Planant creat a WAF rule

That error explains itself. You can’t use regex/matches on Pro with Custom Rules, you need Business or Enterprise. You have to use some other operator, like contains or is in if they match your use case.

hmm that’s interesting. You’re not trying to edit an existing rule, right? If you were, I would delete it and try to make it again. I can create that rule on a Pro website without any issue.

I tried creating a new rule and also updating an existing one. Always with the same error.

Are you the superadmin on the account where you are creating the rule?

I’m not sure if I have those permissions, but I was always able to create, edit and delete WAF rules.
I’m going to ask the admin to run the same test as me.

If they run into the same issues, can you open an account ticket with the Support team and share the number here?

You can create a ticket here, https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/support

The admin can’t either.

Thank you, I’ve flagged that for my colleagues in Support. I am able to create that rule for zones on free plans in my account.
