Can't change name-servers to cloudflare

What is the name of the domain?

24victoria.dk

What is the issue you’re encountering

Hello Cloudflare Support, I am trying to change the nameservers for my domain 24victoria.dk to Cloudflare’s nameservers. However, I received a message from my current provider stating that I cannot switch nameservers because there are active Microsoft email addresses associated with the domain. I would like to know if there is a way to keep the current email functionality while pointing the DNS settings to Cloudflare instead of changing the nameservers entirely. Could you guide me on the best approach to achieve this? Looking forward to your assistance.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I have contacted the host and they say i need to contact cloud-flare to point the dns to them without changing the name-servers

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

Mail records

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Don’t yet know the steps forward on this matter.

Thank you Knot, got it!

All the best.

I would like to add that using a CNAME (partial) setup requires a) a business plan (200+$/month) and b) doesn’t work for the apex domain (24victoria.dk), only for subdomains.

Also:

That’s not how you should set up your records in a CNAME setup.

I understand that using partial CNAME setup requires a business plan and does not work for the apex domain.
However, in my case, I have set up an A-record for the apex domain (24victoria.dk) and CNAME records for the subdomains (like www and others), which, as I understand, is standard practice for Cloudflare.
