Hi transferred my domain from Bluehost to Cloudflare and the Nameservers are still showing the Bluehost Nameservers. The dashboard Cloudflare doesn’t allow me to change them to the Cloudflare nameservers and the account is stuck at “pending nameserver verification”. Since there is absolutely no support with a free account and not in a position to have a paid account, what can I do to change the nameservers? Not an advanced user but know how to make the changes within the dashbaord. Please help!
What is the name of that domain?
From transfer I infer you moved the Domain to Cloudflare Registrar. Is that correct or did you just add the domain (site/zone) to a Cloudflare account?
Normally, the only times we read this is when a domain is in a different cf account than the one you are using or if with a hosting service that requires their nameservers.
that’s what happens here a few hundred times a day
If you can include any of these details that will help us to help you more quickly:
Hi the domain that I’m having issues with is Sellaboo dot com. The whois search shows that is with Cloudflare but the nameservers shown are not the correct nameservers that Cloudflare says I have to change them to. The nameservers shown are Bob and Chloe and the nameservers Cloudflare says I have to change them to are Alan and Bella. The Cloudflare dashboard does not allow me to change them and I have other things that are needing to be done with the website that are waiting for the nameservers to be changed and verified. Thank you soooo much for response. Terry
Also, I transferred the domain TO Cloudflare FROM Bluehost. (not sure why just thought it would be simpler). When the domain was at Bluehost and I just changed the nameservers, everything worked fine. Then when I transferred the domain to Cloudflare, this is when the mess started. Thank you!
Thank you. Everything you’ve shared indicates the domain must have been transferred to Cloudflare Registrar, but to a different account. Do you have a different account? Some recovery options here if not*,
These links may help, but they only work when you are logged out

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! You’re exactly right. I didn’t realize it but years ago I had a different account. I have not used it for a long time but still had the login info on hand. Logged out of the account and logged in to the old account and there it is. All up and going. I can’t thank you enough for your help. I have spent 2 days on this trying to figure it out. Thank you again! Could not have fixed this without your help.
