Cant add domain to cloudflare - Domain HOLD

What is the issue you’re encountering

I recently purchased a domain and when I try to add it to cloudflare it says there is a zona hold

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I tried contacting cloudflare support various times and its been over 3 weeks without a reply from anybody on their team.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

adding the domain on cloudflare will produce the error message. I purchased this domain on godaddy through a broker and im not able to contact the original owner of the domain. What should I do.

The domain has four status flags on it:

Domain Status: clientTransferProhibited https://icann.org/epp#clientTransferProhibited
Domain Status: clientUpdateProhibited https://icann.org/epp#clientUpdateProhibited
Domain Status: clientRenewProhibited https://icann.org/epp#clientRenewProhibited
Domain Status: clientDeleteProhibited https://icann.org/epp#clientDeleteProhibited

This prohibits the domain from being updated or even renewed. The registrar, Godaddy, would have to take care of this for you.

I’m told the problem could actually be a hold placed at Cloudflare by the domain’s previous owner, if they used Cloudflare and had an enterprise account. What’s the ticket number of the support request you opened?
