Screenshot of the error

As the message says, a CNAME already exists for www therefore you can’t add any other A/AAAA/CNAME records for www.

The www CNAME points to your domain which already has an A record for what you are trying to add anyway, so what you are doing isn’t necessary.

If you really want to use the A record for www, you’ll have to delete the CNAME for www first.

We have a very outdated website at the current www I have designed a new website with Canva and that is the one I want to replace and publish over the old one. Are you saying that is not possible because they have the same www?

If you are replacing an old site, then you will need to remove the records that point to it and then add the records that point to the new one.
