I am having this same issue with Email routing on gmail- add new sent from address. Getting the same error message: “Couldn’t reach server. Please double-check the server and port number.”
Is it possible to send emails from my gmail that will be received with my cloudflare domain email? If so, please advise on how. I have very limited tech understanding. So, please keep all advice dumb simple. Thank you in advance.
Short answer, no.
You can send normal emails from your [email protected] to [email protected], however not in a name as [email protected] to some other inbox email like [email protected].
Email Routing is not a sending (SMTP) service. Rather, only receiving and forwarding one.
