I am not sure if I should carry on using Cloudflare because I have just noticed that if you want to add 301 redirects in your htaccess, Cloudflare will not read it. Page rules is not an option as I would need a premium account per website which would cost too much for me.
What other possibilities are they please?
Cloudflare tunnels 301s just fine. Whats the URL?
Do you have a private channel so I can send the url in private please?
You can run a test at sitemeer.com and post back here with the time you ran it.
I ran the test at 7:38pm GMT+1.
Got it. Where would you expect the 301?
For now I have only added 1 x 301 redirection but many more will come.
The first one is:
Redirect 301 /news.php?read=tutorial-on-how-to-use-vue-cli3-with-cordova https://k****x.com/read/vue-cordova-setup-to-build-an-hybrid-mobile-app
This is what I have in the htaccess for now.
It should work, the server support tried too but told me that with Cloudflare being setup on the account, they were also unable to do the redirection themselves either. They have tried many times but failed.
Any idea why this is happening please?
Thank you so much for your help.
I am afraid I cant confirm a 301. The only redirect your server sends is a 302 from HTTP to HTTPS.
Your server address does end in 111, right?
You need to use RewriteCond to match the query string.
