Cannot pay invoice due to broken link

What is the name of the domain?

skylar.tech

What is the error message?

This link expired

What is the issue you’re encountering

Trying to add domain fails because I have a due invoice. There is no way to pay invoice that works.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I opened a ticket with support but it’s taking forever to get a response. I have some domains I needed added to my account ASAP but this due invoice is holding up my account. The bill is only for $1 so this is a bit ridiculous.

In what area can we help you?

Payment issue

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Have a invoice you do not pay for months then go and try to pay it after the link expired.

Hello,

As this is a billing related issue, we are not able to provide assistance on Community. We noticed that you have raised a ticket on this, and it has been escalated to our Billing Team for action. Do wait for an update from them through the ticket.

How long will this take? This is affecting my business. I have some domains I need to get added and routing but that is being held up by this.

I also don’t understand why CF thought expiring invoice payment links was a good idea (no other company I have dealt with does this). Customer service is already short staffed so shoving all these billing issues to them is just going to make customer support queue even longer.

#feelsbad for customer support that has to clean up this mess.

@anexiti be prepared to wait a LONG time. I’ve been waiting for over 3 weeks and still haven’t received a solution to my invoice link being expired.

Honestly never had an issue with Cloudflare until I had to deal with their support. I honestly don’t think I can recommend CF anymore to my corporate clients. This just shows me that mission critical applications should not be using CF.

Hi @skylord123,

We appreciate your patience and we apologize for the time it took us to address this issue.

After checking this case, it seems to me that it is already solved.

Could you please confirm if that is the case?

Thanks in advance.
