I have a Google Site with a domain name from Cloudflare. Both Google and Cloudflare say everything is connected and fine, but I can’t load my website.
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
At first the error code was “ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED”, so I found some community pages and think I fixed it (I don’t remember what I did there). Now the message “ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS” appears. I tried to fix it by changing encryption mode configurations and it didn’t work. I tried to fix it with edge certificate settings, it didn’t work. Tried to fix it with redirect rules, also didn’t work, and the cloudflare doc had no further advice for me.
I’ve cleared the cache and cookies. Google’s Lighthouse debugging tool can’t even analyze the site, it says “Can only audit pages on HTTP or HTTPS. Navigate to a different page.”
I’m at the limit of what I can understand by myself. Please help and explain it to me like I’m in Kindergarten if you can. TIA
My SSL option is flexible. Before moving to cloudflare the website worked fine, and you can even access it now through the link that Google Sites generates (Lighthouse Doula Services). No errors under edge certificates, I think the Universal SSL certificate is active with no errors but all I can see is this:
When I pause cloudflare and try to go to the site through the custom domain, I get the error message “ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED” but I can still access the site through the Google domain.
I can see your Website resolves correct now and working over proxied with SSL. Furthermore, non-www is redirecting to www version and working. Could you confirm?
