Cannot create “disable Brotli compression” via rules
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
Because the origin server is not compatible with Zstandard and Brotli compression modes, I have tried to turn off Speed Brain, but it still shows the Zstd status. I cannot create “Disable Brotli compression” through rules, and it will display the error message “Exceeded the maximum number of rules in the phase http_response_compression: 1 out of 0”.
Compression rules used to be an Enterprise-only option but was then enabled for all plans. It may be your account has missed being enabled. You can raise a support ticket to ask for it to be fixed.
I saw in other posts that the Cloudflare team was adding the 1 default rules for the Free plan. Or wait to see if someone from the Cloudflare support team can help me by configuring this for the domains mentioned above.
