I accidentally deleted my zone for abacloser[DOT]com and now my nameservers are different and I’ve lost control of the domain. Is there any way to link it back up or get help with this?
Adding a new zone results in different nameserver assignment and Cloudflare expecting me to change them as if it was an outside domain, even though I purchased it under my account.
I am sorry to hear of the circumstance that prompted your arrival in the Community.
Questions about Cloudflare Registrar will need to be resolved by the Customer Support team and cannot be resolved on the Community.
To contact the Registrar team, please submit a new support request from your Cloudflare account directly through the Cloudflare dashboard. Visit https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/support and choose Cloudflare Registrar. Please share your ticket number here so that we can track it.
I’ve tried submitting a ticket there multiple times and each time it’s not gone trough due to only using the registrar product at the moment. Are you aware of any other options or a more consistent way to reach them?
Are you choosing Registrar as the reason for the request? That should be an option that will accept a request. Can you try that and respond with your results, including your ticket number if you are successful?
My latest ticket number is: 2862370. When I try to access it, or anything related to the support portal, I’m immediately logged out of my account and get stuck in that pattern any time I try to access it again.
I will be following up via a ticket, but the email used to open ticket #2862370 is not from a valid Cloudflare account.
Please open a Support ticket from the account which you used to purchase the domain abacloser[DOT]com from. Kindly update this thread with the ticket number.
I’m not sure if it helps, but it’s a free account that I’m using, which has quite a few purchased domains under Cloudflare Registrar, as well as a lot of domains with DNS management. I’m getting kicked out of my login session any time I try to interact with the support portal.
@emanova I’m opening the ticket from my cloudflare account I used to register the domain… If it’s coming up under a different email we have a very different and potentially complex issue that might also involve a data leak on your end.
Is there any way I can actually get a direct line of communication on your end so we don’t publish this publicly for Cloudflare’s sake?
I didn’t get anything. I’d say that’s likely the issue. It would seem my primary Cloudflare account may be tied to someone else’s support account or something else along those lines. It’s hard to say given that I can’t access your support portal what-so-ever. So, I can’t follow-up on the ticket you’re wanting me to follow-up “there” on.
I know that’s how it should work… What I’ve been saying is that when I hit that page, I get logged out. Then when I log back in, I’m forwarded to my main website dashboard for Cloudflare.
Can you help me get this fixed and then help me with the domain issue?
I opened a new ticket with the email we have on file for you. Even if you are not able to open the support portal, this one should make it to your inbox and you can reply directly from the email.
