Cannot cancel Zero Trust, cannot close Cloudflare account
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
Have tried deleting domain names bit get page 404 not found on all of them.
Have tried deleting payment methods but cant because of zero trust
Have tried cancelling zero trust, but the confirm button is greyed out which cloudflare is well aware of and has manually fixed for several customers who complained here. But you never fixed it on your website. The button element has a "disabled’ flag in your html code.
I have complained to support in ticket 01532085
And im getting nag messages telling me to read the documentation or follow these steps, or pay for support.
I know what im doing, or what your documentation says i need to do , it doesnt work, its broken, nobody cares.
i have had a bunch of accounts breached and theyre on the darknet right now and I have like 20 more accounts to close . But cloudflare has wasted 12 hours of my time stonewalling me, pretending that theres some kind of self service option here and that its all my fault because im not doing X,y,Z.
What a nightmare. Get rid of this account.
I originally wanted to create a new one but your lack of sensitivity to customers who want to part ways for whatever reason is alarming
and “zero trust” about sums up about how i feel about cloudflare today.
same thing going on , in a different cloudflare account that used to be for a website i no longer have anything to do with but is still under me. i cant delete zero trust or close that account either. that ticket # is 01533223 , theres a bunch of business info in there for an “A&D auto sales” that has nothing to do with me . I do not know this business name or have anything to do with it. Thats the account I believe was compromised or used somehow and didnt notice because it was inactive for over two years.
in any case i just want both accounts gone. going through all the stuff i had in R2, etc was just, a huge huge huge huge liability if anyone ever had accessed or downloaded backups and configs.
they did not remove zero trust, i still cant remove zero trust.
i cant delete two domains as instructed because tehyre in redemption status
the account is under a different persons name who no longer works for the organization although its the organizations account.
said organization is defunct.
i , personally, have a personal CF account of my own and i dont want two accounts. this ones had some unauthorized activity and theres only so much i can do because its on someone elses name.
i cant get rid of this. so they closed my case, telling me to do stuff that i cant do* and thats why i opened the case.
I opened a new ticket , 01539913
They keep “resolving” it by claiming i can delete it myself.
I cant delete it until zero trust is gone. and i literally cant do that.
i cant do it until these domains are gone. and i cant get rid of them in redemption circles.
i would not be here wasting hours and goin around and around in circles with cloudflare support if i could in fact do ANY of these things
They keep closing my tickets and refusing to delete my account.
Now they’re gaslighting me and saying “it’s not my account”
And the current case number is now 01545623.
It is my account, I’m about ready to file a complaint with the California attorney generals office. I don’t mean to be rude to those attempting to assist me ITT, but I do want potential and current customers to know what a nightmare it is to ever attempt to leave Cloudflare.
So I’m like giving up on your oubliette of support, Cloudflare is dreaming if they think I’d ever pay a dime for these people who don’t even read a ticket , or for a company that won’t fix its broken website and lays the blame for things that aren’t working on me.
After thinking about this for a little bit here’s my feedback for whoever stumbles on this from google or whatever for years to come:
You’re this supposed “cyber security” company right.
And you think someone is in my account right now, who “doesn’t own it” and is attempting to make a serious account management task (closure) without permission.
So were you ever going to lock out this “intruder” or warn me? Or just let this “intruder” continue to wreak havoc on my account, deleting cancelling unsubscribing and closing things left and right?
Are you telling me you’re that incompetent at security that you’re knowingly continuing to allow someone who “isn’t the account owner” in there to keep doing this?
I’d believe it at this rate.
But no, that’s not what you really think. Your support is lying, stonewalling, and gaslighting me.
Or they really think that, and hey maybe I am some hacker or intruder who doesn’t own the account, and you’re just “letting me delete all your customers data.”
This premise is so ridiculous it deserves to be ridiculed openly and publicly. Thank you for listening.
