What is the issue you’re encountering
I cannot access a local port (8080) on any device outside the Azure Windows 365 instance even with the policies disabled in Cloudflare.
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
- Disabled all Cloudflare policies (such as Gateway, Network, etc.) that could have blocked the network traffic.
- Ran the same steps on my local Windows 11 PC, and everything worked flawlessly.
- Double-checked all configurations afterward.
- Had a meeting with a Microsoft consultant, who checked everything on their side but didn’t find any issues. The only potential cause he could think of was that the Azure-managed firewall might be blocking incoming traffic. However, DHCP and DNS appear to be functioning normally, as my WARP client is receiving an IPv4 address.
- Also tried to disable Windows Defender on the Azure Windows 365 PC but that is forbidden with the company policies.
What are the steps to reproduce the issue?
- Set up an Azure Windows 365 PC with Azure-managed firewall and Windows 11 installed, and ensured that Windows Defender is enabled.
- Configured WARP-to-WARP connectivity (Create private networks with WARP-to-WARP · Cloudflare Zero Trust docs).
- Set up device enrollment permissions so that only users with an email ending in @rotterdam.nl can join the Cloudflare Zero Trust instance (Device enrollment permissions · Cloudflare Zero Trust docs).
- Installed the Cloudflare WARP client on both my mobile phone and the Azure Windows 365 instance, and successfully logged in with my @rotterdam.nl account.
- Copied the Cloudflare WARP IPv4 address of my Azure Windows 365 instance to my mobile phone and attempted to access port 8080 via Google Chrome.
- The browser eventually returned a timeout error.
I have uploaded the connectivity information from my Cloudflare WARP client on the Azure Windows 365 PC instance.
